what would you think about a mid gen hardware upgrade on a home console?

I would be fine with a ps4 revision with HDMI 2.0, 4K blu-ray support, whatever flavor of new wifi, bigger HDD or even a combined SSD + HDD version. However changing the hardware specs for games is not cool. The whole point of dedicated consoles is coding to 1 hardware target, not wasting time on different versions. Arguably having to support the 360 arcade and 12gb PS3 was distracting enough already for game development.
