Played one round of it earlier. Didn't have time to round friends up and it's been weeks since I played as I decided to take a break after hundreds of hours on the game. I was actually trying to float around like in Destiny. The game plays so much faster and such a huge frame rate difference.
The mode plays great. I love the new enemy types and having to defend a tower from a pack of attacking Titans. The AI is deadly, too. They can now rodeo your Titans, will snipe at you and instakill you, throw grenades at you. Some of the spectres are designed to be suicide bots too and will just run up and explode, does massive damage to the Titans and the harvester. Each of the maps apparently has its own objective and play style, so I will enjoy some others before I make any final judgement on the mode.
I also got into the pro mode by being Gen 10. Need to try that out as well. There is a ton of new shit since I played last. If they did some sort of GOTY edition or a late PS4 release, I think most of the complaints would be squashed with the amount of content you'd be getting.
