The U.S. version will be launched on November, 21 (a week before Black Friday, I guess). The European/Australian and Japanese versions will be lauched a little later, on December, 5 and 6, respectively. So, yeah, this is what they´re proposing for Christmas. Captain Toad will have a different, weird launch, in N.A. its launch will be on December, 5

That is a good end of the year line up for Nintendo, Smash will probably do 3-4 million lifetime and at least 1,5 million in the gifts season I guess.
