I think that both PS3 and 360 should had something around 20M-25M users by the time PS4 and XBO released, and now the number should be lower, maybe still a solid 15M users or so.
I'm taking the numbers from my head, no need to believe it, but I'm using GTA 5 success to take a margin, that can be totally off to be honest, but 80M you can have sure it is not even close.
Still a lot of room to sell TLOU, and GOTY's are a good thing and it can sell well, so no problem indeed.
Also, I was thinking that the triple dipping comment was a joke in the begginin, but I'm not so sure anymore now... if not, well, let him be.

How do you think that there are 20 million active users on the PS3, when GTA 5 retail version alone is nearing 20 million? Keeping in mind that the digital sales are probably incredible for a PS3 game. I am guessing you think about 125% of the active players bought the game?
Just curious. Though you are right about that the active base is nowhere near 75 million.
