Considering you just moved to Haswell-E, I'd be relieved.

And they seem very optimistic when it comes to AMD's "Zen", too optimistic given the failed promises of the recent AMD CPUs.

Relieved? Lulz. You don't know me very well.

I plan for the next build even before my recent one(s) are finished. Broadwell-E is much like IB-E was for me - an exciting, evolutionary step. I don't mind waiting a year for the new chips, but like SB-E to IB-E, this will be a longer wait. Not that it's a huge deal, NVIDIA will have their newest Maxwell top-of-the-line card out soon, but the CPU in my builds is equally, if not more, important, considering my work.

With relieved I meant that at least the last upgrade would have payed off, you'll get more from your money even if after your upgrade you resell the older components. Upgrading is always... not fun but exciting.

And Nvidia, I guess when AMD launches the 3x0 series they will launch the 980Ti or whatever the name they come with.
