I will tell you something. The negativity and cynicism does not come from people who have played the game. As a small sample just look for threads created for those games here in vgchartz. The thread creators have not played the game and the people who replied to the thread have not played them either. The people who have played the games defend them with arguments based on their own experience and of their friends. The people who bash them say I have read other people say the game sucks. And thus an endless chain is formed of negativity and cynicism. I am not saying the hate comes exclusivily from this, but a huge chunk does come from this. Plus we are in gaming forums where people hate on a game if it is not on their system, and when the game does not score high they get happy that the game does not score well leading to negativity. Always remember that people on gaming forums are a VERY small portion of the total gaming userbase.
