This is actually quite a good prediction at the time he predicted, at least for me I see his logic behind it. Because for a hot selling console to sell 16mil in a year is not very hard at all. Just refer to ps3/xbox360 sales.
We'll see... I'm pretty sure even if vgchartz mistracks ps4 sales, sony will announce on their own a milestone such as 20mil.
