| RavenXtra said: I seriously doubt people don't know what Nokia is anymore. Nokia has been one of the best-selling handset makers for a long time. A few years of Android wouldn't have wiped away such a long history of popular devices. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_mobile_phones |
Since smartphones and the rise of Iphones, Galaxy, and androids as a whole I dont think Nokia is near as big of a name as it once was. Nokia has been making excellent phones, i agree. Blackberries were once huge as well. Can you remember the last time those were extremely popular? Things change over time and it is hard to say that Nokia is anywhere near as big as they once were and has really struggled in recent years from my understanding. I didnt say everybody doesnt know who they are, im saying as a brand Microsoft is much bigger than Nokia. Microsoft basically bought the Lumia team (as well as others)and will try to continue developing their phones and Lumia for the future.
