FYI, I just priced an SLI mobo - evga 8800gt - 4gb ram - phenom 9600 2.3ghz for $500
IMO very cost effective when compared to a PS3.
Just sell your old parts for $150 on ebay and you can have PS3 killing performance for less than an xbox360 pro.
