I see a lot of people stating not to go by VGC pre-orders, and while I have the game on pre-order for review purposes, I can already feel the lack of enthusiasm in the overall community and responses to videos and other things about the game.
Also, the surprising silence and lack of pre-release reviews is, as always with just about every publisher other than Nintendo, a concern. The embargo being set close to release is usually a "pre-order sales preservation" tactic when internal sources are indicating a score lower than anticipated.
Having said that, I'm going into it with an open mind, as I do with all of my reviews
