I don't think the Wii U has much chance at all of winning that week. Smash EU/Japan release week the Xbox One only has The Crew. Considering Japanese gamers will probably be buying the 3DS version instead I don't expect a huge boost there, while in Europe... the Wii U just hasn't done well so far, don't really see that changing that much. |
Take a look at the second or third week of december, no new releases, but the Wii U comes from just launching Smash in Europe and Japan, plus NES remix and Captain Toad in America, add the christmas boost that helps more the Nintendo consoles than the competitors specially in Europe and Japan were the Xbox One is also not doing very good and that could be the victory week for the console. Besides the current distance this week was not so big.
