Green Man Gaming is giving away free copies of Firaxis’ XCOM: Enemy Unknown to those who vote in this year’s Golden Joystick Awards. Not only will players receive a copy of the original, participants will also receive an 80% discount for the seminal tactical strategy title’s expansion, XCOM: Enemy Within, through Playfire Rewards. It’s really easy to vote, just go over to the Golden Joysticks Awards website and pick a winner, just remember to submit your vote with the address from your Green Man Gaming account, if you don’t have one you can register for GMG here. The Golden Joystick Awards is being represented by Green Man Gaming this year. The Golden Joystick Awards was launched in 1982, and this year’s ceremony will take place on Friday, October 24th. The freebie Green Man Gaming is giving out this year, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, was honored with a Golden Joystick last year for being the best mobile and tablet game of the year. We concur, and are pretty sure XCOM is one of the best games of all time on any system.
