i get it. different strokes for different folks. i can respect that.
i think a lot of people will look at digital and parse the cents out and say that because the physical retailer is cut out they are "owed" a cheaper price. i personally see the security of having zero risk of my game getting lost or stolen or scratched with the convience of not having to get off my couch to swich games or have to buy another bookshelf to store them as worth a premium pricing model.
for me the physical game would have to be significantly cheaper (like $60 digital vs $10 physical) to even consider the physical copy. actually,. even at $10 i think i'd just by the digital game. i still have dead space 2 and a couple over ps3 games stilling on my shelf still in its shrink wrap only because i can't be bothered to put them into my ps3. physical is basically worthless to me these days.
