D'oh! I should have noticed two separate entries for SM64. Well, let me rephrase myself: Aside from a couple of Pokemon games and the DS re-release of Super Mario 64, no compilation or re-release has ever sold over 5 million copies.

I agree with the point of your post, but;

All, except one, of the Super Mario Advances (which are actually Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3) along with Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (which is the original Super Mario Bros.) on GBC have crossed 5m as well. Could also count Mario All-Stars on SNES.

So it's actually; "Aside from a couple of Pokémon games and Super Mario platformers..."
