Why set yourself up for disappointment? With a global install base at the close of 2014 likely to be under 10 million Halo MCC is headed towards a lifetime total of probably not mre than 5 million. And 5 million will be a brilliant result.
Creating expectations for 10 million is just opening yourself up for disappointment and opening the game up to stupid and unjustified ridicule by the haters. Why would you do that, when 5 million is is an awesome result and can only be made to look bad if fans like you promote pipe dreams like 10 million?
