Nintendo would be downright stupid to release a brand new handheld in 2016. They made that exact mistake by releasing the DSi XL in 2010 and then launching the 3DS the next year. No one who bought a DSi or XL was ready to buy another handheld so soon. They have to give some breathing room between releases, wait long enough for people to be ready to buy their next handheld.

Nintendo been doing this for a long time, look how quick they killed the wii, people here where expecting it to last the longest because you know the gen leader is the one who is suppose to last the longest lol ( by kill I mean pretty much stop supporting it decently and killing its sales)

I didn't say they wouldn't do it, I said it would be stupid. Nintendo does stupid stuff all the time.
