And the countries that do have higher speeds than the US and UK have proportionally small gamer populations that aren't as interested in Halo as American and English gamers.

Ok, but does that mean they should just ignore those folks who aren't in a country who has a high enough percentage of game X or Y?  That's the point.  The US and UK may be where the collection will do the best business, but there are also areas in the US, that still don't have broadband access.  Again, I'm not hating on Halo, or the collection.  I know allot of people really like the series, I'm just saying there are fans of the series that won't have an easy time downloading something of that size.  Can't believe people are taking this so personally.

Clearly, those people all need to move to Hong Kong

In all seriousness, I get your point. The point I was trying to make is that there are many people who have way higher internet speeds than Americans and the British, but those people come from countries where only a small proportion of the population is interested in Halo. 20 gigs for an update is a lot and if you need a very, very good internet connection if you don't want wait for an excruciatingly long time (not to mention the dreadful installation times, too). It would be a nice gesture if MS releases the collection with a 2nd disc with all that content for the people who don't have good enough connections.
