Probably because they have a list of priorities, and everything you've mentioned is lower down on the list. That's my guess.

What are their priorities then?

Games? I dont see any.
Online? Way to shitty for it to require a fee.
Vita? Sony does not even know what this is.

TBH Nintendo has kind of an excuse to not have so many games. Because they need to develop for 2 systems. Sony on the other hand....
What exactly is sony doing?

There aren't too many consoles that have had a lot of "AAA" titles released in their first year and I doubt the PS4 and One will be any different. The plethora of games usually don't start coming out until the second or so year of the system's release and with games like Uncharted 4 (possibly), Bloodborne and I'm sure a few others not announced, there are and will be games to play. Just because a game is on another system doesn't mean there aren't games to play.

"Why play a game on one system when you can get it for another!?!?!" Well, just because it's a multiplatform title doesn't mean it's any less important if you play it on the PS4. For example, Shadow of Mordor is a great game, whether you play it on the One, the PS4 or the PC.
