Why does Sony release unfinished Products and take forever to Update?

TBH Nintendo has kind of an excuse to not have so many games. Because they need to develop for 2 systems. Sony on the other hand....

Isn't that a question you should be leveling at Sony?  How would I ever know that?  What part of 'probably' and 'that's my guess', makes you think I'm privy to concrete answers on these issues?
