I initially thought this for a while as well. Then it hit. That Naughty Dog lost its game U4 game directors and some things got reworked this probably stalled any UCollection work. Which I don't believe was being worked on during TLOU Remaster. Also, I don't think the UCollection will just be a 60fps upres like TLOU.. I think ND will remaster it in U4'engine and include next gem gameplay mechanics in the previous 3 as well. THATS why I believe it's coming after and not before. In a perfect world all that would come before but I don't think it will and because of of those factors I see U4 coming out earlier than expected. |
Hmm, I don't think a remaster would take them that long tbh but you make a good point. ND stated they were working on two other projects (not including UCIV or TLoU) so maybe UC Collection would be one of them? Or Sony could get outsource another developer to do it.
