So why in the world do you feel the need to make a post on a topic that you have almost no clue about? I own TWO Vitas, and the first-party library from Sony is absolutely pathetic.

The only game of import this entire year has been Freedom Wars, which isn't even out yet. Nothing else has been remotely interesting from Sony, other than some half-assed ports like Borderlands 2 that they didn't even develop.

You don't see how Nintendo supported the Wii U more? Well, just look at the sales. Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros Wii U, Bayonetta 2 (codeveloped by Nintendo), and Hyrule Warriors alone this year have been better than anything Sony has offered on the Vita, not to mention Xenoblade X, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Mario Maker, Splatoon, Yoshi's Whooly World, and Zelda U making their way here in 2015. What does Sony have for the Vita? A Gravity Rush sequel that will undoubtedly be a PS4 definitive title?

This is confusing..

You mention "brand" exclusives like Smash Bros (which is co-developed between Sora and Namco btw) and other non-internally developed games like Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 (which you incorrectly claimed is co-developed) and then go on to mention that there is nothing on Vita that was remotely interesting this entire year, completely ignoring Danganronpa 1 and 2, Toukiden, and Tales of Hearts R (And several decent ports and brand-exclusives). If you meant games made by Sony's internal studios then why did you have to mention Borderlands Vita? oh I know, because it's a crappy game right?

Nintendo continues to support the Wii U because they have much bigger games on consoles than Sony have on handhelds. When Nintendo make a game, they "KNOW" that it's going to sell well and make a profit. Sony tried to measure how well their games sell on Vita with the likes of Killzone, Gravity Rush, Tearaway, LBP and Uncharted but the results weren't so great! It makes no financial sense for them to continue.. "THEY FAILED!" On another note, Nintendo's poor third party relations pretty much necessitates the rise of internally developed games.

And what part in "Gravity Rush 2 coming to PS4" bothers you exactly as a consumer? didn't Smash Bros come to 3DS several weeks before the expected Wii U release? are you one of those who think multiplatform games are the equivalent of no support?

I was a Dreamcast owner not long before Sega killed it out of the blue! Well.. I eventually would sell it and my PS1 to buy a PS2! Life went on!!! Like the Dreamcast, the Vita will be Sony's last dedicated gaming handheld.

Tales of Hearts R is a remake, and Danganronpa is not comparable in terms of pure quality to half the 3DS exclusives.

I'm comparing the first-party titles. Nintendo had help with SSB, yes, but the vast majority of the work was done by themselves, and it shows. That's why I mentioned Borderlands 2 under Vita. And the thing is, even with third-party support the Vita has a piss-poor library of AAA games.

I have a PS4, so Gravity Rush coming to it doesn't bother me. What it does show though is that Sony will never again make dedicated AAA games for the Vita, thus making it pointless for me to buy games for it. Why buy games on the Vita when a definitive version is right around the corner with the PS4? At least with SSB the game was vastly different on both platforms with many different stages.

Finally, many of the games you mentioned (LBP. Uncharted, Killzone) were vastly inferior versions of a console franchise. Instead of going out and making new IPs for handheld or taking an existing IP and optomizing for handheld, they tried to make a console game directly on handheld, and it blew up in their faces. When they did make a game optomized for handheld that was its own thing, the did well (Freedom Wars in Japan, Tearaway).

And lol @ you mentioning the Dreamcast, the Dreamcast had a crazy good library, even before it was killed off. The Vita never even got there. Sony killed it early by selling vastly overpriced memory cards and trying to market console games on a handheld.
