Yea but from what I hear, the 4k scaling features are pretty good when going from 1080p and again, its like future proof for the next 5-7 years. And there are plenty of things that are doing 4k right now like Netflix and Youtube so its only a matter of time when the rest go 4k as well. Like sure, most things will be 1080p this year and next year but eventually, more and more things will be at 4k so its better to wait imo, specially for a TV
