Yes, of course it is. Except when it doesn't. A lot of game come with bugs with some GPUs, things sometimes simply doesn't work, drivers sometimes will give problems and Windows will surely be a pain more than once (hell, it did it to me today).

sure its not NES easy(take game, blow, put it in, start) but its much easyer than some years ago
