To be honest i think the Topic at hand is bullshit too and feel that ubi are coming up with excuses as i see no reason for this game not to be 1080P@30FPS on PS4 if its 900P@30FPS on X1 otherwise i still expect the PS4 version to be a lot more smoother with a constint frame rate where the X1 version will have lots of drops (And thats if they really are even pushing both hardware)

And yeah, i agree. To be honest i think both consoles should be be running it at 1080p/30fps. If it's the CPU holding them back, then both should be sitting on quite bit of unused power (given the nature of their hardware). Tapping into the PS4's potential would also see significant improvements for the X1. The X1's upper limit would just be lower (a limit i don't think ACU at 1080p/30fps would hit).

If Ubisoft had said that they didn't think re-working the engine to take advantage of those capabilities was worth delaying the game, i'd understand. I don't really agree with that kind of thinking, they should have accounted for it in the first place, but in the present it's a perfectly valid excuse. Instead they've been dancing around the issue like a chicken on coals.

Regardless, let's just hope the final build in a stable 30fps on both. I can accept them releasing it at 900p because of a lack of time or experience in pushing the hardware further, but if you're rolling with 30fps then that shit needs to be stable.
