Well, this year, you do have a decent bit of games that will push the X360 to a few good points:
Ninja Gaiden 2
Infinite Undiscovery
Tales of Vesperia
Cry On
Then you have multi-plat games that should help too:
Resident Evil 5
Last Remnant
And I'm sure that there will be a few Western games to help out here and there (but certainly not much).
The big question is: Can any of the 360 Exclusives provide real, meaningful traction? Blue Dragon was the last "real" game to not only increase X360 sales for a good week, but keep sales rather steady (as BD had a noticible effect into 2007). Since then , many games have increased hardware sales, but never for more than 2 weeks at the most (well Lost Odyssey did see a 2-3 week increase).
So the candidates, to me, are: Tales, and NG2. IU will probably cater to the current userbase in Japan. But Tales is the real wildcard: It's the first "real" RPG on the 360 that is a franchise IP. We've seen that Namco franchises such as Ridge Racer and Ace Combat really boosted X360 sales, but Tales is better than both, as far as I know (for the JP market).
But time will tell..
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
