You play as a guy called "Selten" you are a Squire. Your lord is a good lord and you are destined to become a very important person in your Lord/King's Kingdom.
The world lies at your feet and everyone loves your kindness, personality and your talent.
Then one day another lord gets you in his clutches, imprisons you and forces you remove horse poop from the stables and do all kinds of pathetic stuff. You are not even a shadow of your former self and people laugh at your life in disgrace.
This sums up the "never before seen game". And sounds pretty familiar :)
