FPS: Far Cry 3 (recent) ... all time Half-Life 2 (+ episodes)
TPS: Uncharted 2 & 3 <-- These are open to discussion, but this is the first thing that comes to mind when asking for TPS...
Mind you, only Half-Life 2 would classify as an all time best game ever made for the whole history of humanity.
Please someone confirm Half-life 3!
