Nintendo gamers: Could you even afford to be a Sony or Microsoft gamer?

Yes I can (seeing as how I bought a 970 recently with money to spare) but I don't really want a console just sitting there doing nothing for the next 6 months (maybe longer), so I am not really gonna buy one. Not to say they have bad games or anything but its just, a lot of the third party games are coming out on PC anyway and the first party games alone don't interest me enough to spend $500+ on buying one of those consoles

And judging from the reviews... I am not really missing anything at all loll
