The thing is anyone can make anything sound boring by doing that.

No. The thing is that gameplay really looked bad and boring. I was very intrigued by what they showed first, but then it turned out to be yet another generic shooter with time-freeze mechanic. Such a massive let-down. I was hoping they'd use this in a totally different way. Obviously, they still can have an ace up their sleeve, but in my case the early excitement in totally gone.

Isn't TPSs like that?

Uncharted... climb, shoot, hide. CTRL+C and CTRL+V.

Isn't it?

Most of them are, but that's the thing. I was hoping this one would stand out instead of being yet another forgetable run-of-the-mill game. And when it comes to Uncharted, I'm hoping ND is gonna reduce the climbing/shooting in favour of more puzzles and plot. U3 was best in that regard, so I hope they're gonna go that way even further. The success of TLOU should support this idea. Though obviously these are staples of the series and will be a big part of gameplay, Drake isn't getting rid of his gun anytime soon But I hope the genre is gonna improve and we'll see more diversed experiences
