Nice video. I agree with most of it. I would much rather have a lower resolution or less NPC's and hit 60fps. But the gaming majority nowadays are fucking stupid, obsessed with 1080p above all and shitting on anything a toggle lower on the vegetation scale. It's no wonder companies opt to make the versions as similar as possible.
As far as developers saying stupid shit in regards to frame rate goes, didn't the same thing happen with Killzone 6? I remember them saying something particularly stupid about frame rates.
I don't know if I would say developers nowadays "can't hack it". I think both of these consoles are just weaker than anticipated.
