A game that always beats 90 and every one sells more than 6m.  That is very lonely territory.  What other new series has managed it?

 

The side project, Judgement, was an aberration and a cash grab and still managed 79. 

 

So? There have been many franchises that fell and just couldn't rise again. Final Fantasy is an example.
