Phil Spencer is in charge now. Things are already a lot better. And he knows what he is doing. Microsoft have already started the gen well with exclusives. Sony is struggling outside indie games which can be found on pc and tablets. Apart from a last gen game which reviewers used last gen scores for Xbox is winning at retail exclusives. With no answer to horizon 2 or titanfall atm.

The order is also getting bad press. Another exclusive that could meta low 70s or high 60s. If sunset overdrive reviews well 85+ then Xbox is going strong. It's difficult to know what halo mcc will score, but like gran turismo it will sell regardless of score.

I believe Phil Spencer will put a proper team together for a banjo 3 and new conker. He's doing wonders at the moment. As a Nintendo gamer there is much more promise for Xbox than ps.

Just stop.  What on earth has Phil Spencer done in the past to earn this respect?

During the 360 from launch until 2008 he worked with Lionhead and rare.  The first made increasingly worse Fable games until the studio founder left and rare utterly collapased in quality.  Viva, Banjo Nut and Bolts and Kinect Sports - all utter shit.

After which he became head of Microsoft Studios whos original content decinded and dwinded to the point that they only had about 1 game in 2012.

I have no idea what good will Phil has built up with you to put such a huge amount of faith in him, but I think It's mis-placed.

The only thing he has really done in people's eyes is that he isn't Don Mattrick, the scapegoat of the XBO's poor reception/sales.  It didn't matter who took Don's place, they would have been trumpeted as the One's savior.  Of course, he hasn't really saved anything.  And I'm sure Phil was in the discussions about DRM and mandatory Kinect.  And I'm pretty sure early on he also made statements in defence of those policies.

@ OP

Considering your mostly into COD, and not really into Halo, I would definitely get rid of the One in favor of getting a PS4.  Not only is the IQ and performance going to be better, but you are going to have many more people to play with online.  Same goes for the other multiplats you mentioned, and the next Titanfall may end up on the PS4, as well.  No brainer to me.
