I guess it is the same case for these games.

The difference is today everybody is vocal in internet... in FFVII and OoT days there is no internet at all.

ok, everybody is different, we all understand that. but those who hate OoT, FFVII and HL2 are an extreme minority. those games are regarded as classics and the best of their kind. theyre a standard, and the kinds of games that get people to want to become game developers one day.

come on guys, lets  be a little bit realistic. yes, there will never be a game that somebody makes that everybody loves. but these three games especially are standards. and the fac tthat they were so great drove sales. unlike destiny. we know for a fact that destiny isnt selling like hot cakes because its a great game.
