I know. That's the point.ps2 to Xbox was 45% difference in theoretical flops. Xbox one to ps4 is around the same. So like then the end result is moot.

 

I said Xbox one to ps4 isn't like Wii to 360.IIf gamers care for best multiplatform graphicstthen ps4 or Xbox one is not the choice. pc is. as I said console gamers choose for exclusives not a few extra pixels.

 

 

In both cases, the difference between consoles was still obvious. The gap between the Wii and the 360 is simply much bigger.


Yeah I agree. But the ps2 held up well in the end. With games like ico and god of war 2. Sure it couldn't do half life 2 or halo without serious cuts to scale, but Xbox one will be the same. It will do fine. Games like horizon 2, Ryse show in the first year games look awesome. And quantum break looked phenominal and is apparantly claimed to be 1080p.

 

Sure ps4 will have some extra effects or a few extra pixels. But it won't matter. There's a reason Microsoft are trying so hard with first party. Halo 5 will look amazing, as will gears 4. People who loved gears and halo will without question buy Xbox one. If rare do banjo and conker right then Xbox may find new buyers from old school minty fans. Xbox one is 10 times more powerful than 360 was. Looking at halo 4 that's awesome. Games will look great as time goes on.
