Bah, the hardware, price and the available games will influence the destiny of a system. Just because someone invented upmarket and downmarket categories doesn't mean he is right. The nice thing about computers (and consoles) is that you can choose what you want to play.
You want great gaming with depth: play Mass Effects, you want easy access: download video Poker from XBOX live. Of course if you have limited resources your decisions will be important. But in this case it would be an addition taking nothing away.
