lol good point, but my point was more about getting it cut off for what they did more than what they may or may not do again.

That's going back to the horror stories tho where if someone steals from your shop you can cut off their hand so they wont steal again. It isn't really a 21st century way of dealing with offenders.

I know if you read my posts it does seem like I think the guy was 100% victimized here and shouldn't have been punished for his "alleged" actions. But I do think he should have been arrested and the law dealt with him in the strongest way they could, but that is why the laws are there, to convict and punish.

what everyone forgets its not just the girl it effects, what if she has a partner, her family,etc. And the fact is in my country anyway they will possibly be out of jail after two years on good behaviour if they even get convicted, while it can even take many more years for the girl/guy to rebuild ones life,
