Killing of characteres is what they tended to do in the past, that's what Bonnie meant. She said that in a few interviews before, maybe the quote "We're not Game Of Thrones" rings a bell?
OT:
Nothing really that new (or rather a lot of speculation was correct), except sorta confirming Locke isn't an antagonist and *SPOILER, HALO 4, ESCALATION* that the Didact will make an appearance (How on Earth is that possible?).
