Belkin can be good or bad. I've known some who have had horrible luck with them and some who have had great luck with them. Buying a Belkin is a gamble. Feeling lucky?

D-Stink (D-Link) is almost always bad. The firmware always sucks resulting in speed lose, drops, and in worse cases a freakish load of hardware interrupts. Avoid at all costs.

Linksys is usually fairly reliable. 2 years is a little short for a router's lifespan though.

Unless you're really set on a certain brand/card or you have a lot of time to research models, I'd suggest going with another Linksys.

Also, you generally don't have to worry about compatibility. A wireless signal is a wireless signal. ^_^

Really?  My ~$100 wireless D-Link hasn't given me that much trouble.  It certainly is better than the $40 Linksys that it replaced.
