It is different in my country im in America. Trust me WIi U is around, people dont care. its that simple. I didnt know you werent talking US that changes things. Europe? i visited there in the Spring. ITs called SOny land for a reason I only saw Sony ads when it came to gaming. UK? Interesting. Well that seems to be an issue with either retailers or Ninty not stocking. ANd i dont want to be insulting. but UK is kinda small compared to the rest of Europe and the US. So even then. I would say the majority do know and dont care. We'll have ot agree to disagree. If you come to US the system is everywhere. Its not being hidden. If NInty wants to stand out they better damn well make a product that people want to buy. Well then they are doomed to these numbers then. YOu call it following the herd. I call it doing things that are standard and EXPECTED in this day and age. Why do i still have to have stupid friend codes in this day and age. NO else does that. Not SOny, Apple, MS, Google. I have no problem with them trying to be different, but doing it for the sake of doing it is stupid. If you cant make an alternative thats better or at the least works just as well as the others. THen you better follow. |
So, Nintendo not obvious in Europe either? Which countries did you visit?
Yes, we'll have to agree to disagree. But I'll point out now, that if it's Sony doing all the advertising in Europe, it's paying off - the sales here are matching those in the US, whereas X1 and Wii U sales in Europe are roughly half those in the US. You can see how Sony has underpinned its success this gen. That is where Nintendo have failed, and I don't blame Ubisoft in the slightest for backing away this time.
