Pretty stupid reason, as this was never a problem in any other generation.

Games had superior and inferior versions all the time when the PS2 was obviously inferior in specs to XBox and GameCube. Last gen too, with multiplat games that came to Wii. Moreover, they're already compromising 'on their vision' anyway it seems because of the XBox One, so that further debunks the statement. All of a sudden, we gamers must now be protected from differences in the different versions of a game, and everything must run and look exactly the same despite hardware differences and for some reason there can't be any discussion. It makes no sense, especially when 99% of people couldn't care less anyway. The WiiU costs less than the other two. We get it, it's less powerful because of it. No-one is expecting games to look the same.

Why not just tell us it's because of sales, which it is (and rightfully so, I wouldn't have published the game on WiiU either myself), instead of trying to sound 'deep' or whatever and chalk it up to 'artistic vision'?

Ironically, I could have ended up getting this game because this is the first AC since AC1 that interests me and looks like a good game I think. Obviously I won't be getting a PS4 just for it though .

oh come on. the difference between Wii U and PS4and ONe is bigger than PS2 GC/xbox ever was. Those werent even true multiplats in the case of WIi they were completly different games made by different studios. ANd they usually sold like crap. COD notwithstanding and evne that game had to have a seperate team working on it. That cost more money than having straight port done. YOu're essentially making another game entirely. But the Wii had the install base to justify that cost. The Wii U not evne close.

Irrelevant to the point.

lol how is it NOT relevant. the whole subject is about Ubi saying the Wii U cant handle Unity the way it needs to be handled. Now if you dont believe them, thats on you
