325m is not stellar. That's 175m short of its supposed 500m budget. Not that it Destiny can't make back the rest of the money but it is certainly troubling.

They sold $325m worth of Destiny copies but they shipped $500m in the first day. So technically they broke even if the budget was actually $500m. 

That's 175m that have not sold through though. In other words, in five days, 325m sold. Compare that to Black Ops 2 selling through 500m in 24 hours. There's 175m in stock that could return Activision's way. Not good.
