Destiny is an Okay game. IMO it's getting so much attention because it's introducing Millions of casual gamers to an MMO for the first time ever. It had lots of problems MMOs had when they first started coming out (no trade options, repeated raid boss patterns, no story, repeated mob waves etc).
Funny thing is all people that I know that love it never played MMOs before or are not hardcore gamers. They think its the best thing ever and the first game of it's kind, while hardcore gamers know other games have done what Destiny is doing, only better.
Gameplay was Halo-ish which is great,but I literally went from Boss 1 to final boss without no explanation on how I got there. That and I have to keep paying $20 every time for added content added to a $65 dollar game was the final straw. I finished the game in a week and traded it for store credit. There conditioning wasn't strong enough to get me...
