I also wouldn't call resolution a feature and why do you assume they took it away? That would mean they got it to 1080p then intentionally lowered it, doesn't it make more sense to assume they aimed for 900p on both versions from the start?

You're missing the point. I never said every game needs to be 1080p. If all other things are equal, then the resolution on PS4 should be better. Now if ACU has better other features on PS4 then this is excusable but I didn't see them mention that. That extra power has to go SOMEWHERE. The point remains that even COD last year had better res on PS4 with exclusive X1 advertising.

Why? Sure PS4 is more powerful, but that doesn't guarantee it's games will have higher resolution. Or do you think every game that gets 1080p on Xbox One should be even higher than that on PS4?

Did you read past the sentence you bolded? I was talking about graphical effects btw and thus said the extra power has to go somewhere. So no it doesn't have to be above 1080p it should be higher framerate if both are 1080p or perhaps little things like shadows, draw distance, foiliage, etc.
