Only because of its better/easier/more mainstream take on the arcade steering imo. I can't believe the talented folks at Evolution develop the best looking racer ever and then make the cars control so drifty like in Ridge Racer. An easier coded arcade control similar to Need for Speed would've been far preferable imo! :( I know I'm exaggerating about the Ridge Racer part and I've only played Driveclub at Gamescom 2013 (before the delay and all the improvements) but on the steering side of things the cars are certainly not going to have that smooth mainstream control which is so enjoyable in arcade racers imo. My biggest wish is for Evolution to patch in a driftless car control and make the cars run as smooth as in Need for Speed.
No matter what I'm looking forward to try the game in a few hours and drive with all my PS+ friends (I'll probably suck hard against the AI). I'm sure the graphics and social aspects won't disappoint. :) |
Surprising since i find DC handling for more enjoyable the the woefully floaty Horizon 2, i doubt its the controllers fault but i find i have to correct any imput way to much with H2. Im enjoyng DC handling more then GT or Forza i wont even mention the train wreck that was NFSr.
