implementing a camera or radically different controller is completely different from upping a res or making it higher framerate.  Fact is we've seen smaller teams with less resources take advantage of PS4's extra power time and again (Shadow of Mordor?) and more powerful PC (which is basically what PS4 is compared to X1 since they're of similar architecture) is an easy thing to implement.  Hell the last AC showed that so you know that Ubisoft knows and they just don't want to because of their deal with MS.  It's unfortunate they are trying to take features away from PS4 instead of using that extra bank for Kinect features but that's the path they've chosen.

Is it that easy though? If it was why isn't every game 1080p? Watch Dogs for example...
Also... Shadow of Mordor, a game with PS exclusive content, isn't really the best example.

I also wouldn't call resolution a feature and why do you assume they took it away? That would mean they got it to 1080p then intentionally lowered it, doesn't it make more sense to assume they aimed for 900p on both versions from the start?

You're missing the point.  I never said every game needs to be 1080p.  If all other things are equal, then the resolution on PS4 should be better.  Now if ACU has better other features on PS4 then this is excusable but I didn't see them mention that.  That extra power has to go SOMEWHERE.  The point remains that even COD last year had better res on PS4 with exclusive X1 advertising.

The one thing I don't get is why you and others expect EVERY game to utilize the PS4's extra power as if AssCreed is a first party game. This isn't directed to you in particular, but it seems so entitled to expect this from every publisher when this rarely happened in the past. Yes the PS4 has more power, but NOT every game will use it; even moreso for games where the PS4 isn't the lead platform. Why is this such a big deal now when it never mattered in the past? Is the (overblown) power difference that big of a deal now more than ever?

Aside from that, Assassin's Creed was likely developed for the XB1 first because of the marketing deal and ported over and like Ka-pi96 said, they likely aimed for 900p from the start. This doesn't look like Microsoft forcing parity.
