I am personally conservative socially and fiscally but politically I am libertarian
I don't believe anyone should have the right to use government to force their own beliefs down someone's throat, right or left.
My political leanings were shaped when I almost lost my house that I worked for years to buy because I couldn't afford to pay the property taxes. When I found out the govenrment could take my house away I was furious and got more interested in politics and finding out where my tax money was going and being spent on. I started reading a lot of books on politics and more and more I found myself agreeing with the conservative and libertarian arguments.
