Ubisofts response is just down right insulting. We know the power gap is there, we've seen it used in other games as recently as Shadow of Mordor where the PS4 version has a significant advantage. Both the specs and results show it.

Ubi is trying to convince us that somehow both the PS4 and Xbox One versions are 900p @30 fps without having to limit the PS4 version in any way. Utter garbage.

Yea, their excuses just come off exactly as they are, damage control.  They say the CPU is limiting them, because of AI.  Well, okay.  Then, does that mean that the AI is going to be the most spectacular AI ever seen?  Nope.  I doubt it'll be much different than the other ACs.  Now they are saying they optimized it to the max on both consoles, yet they are both 900p 30FPS.  So, does that mean that it will be the most beautiful game on the PS4?  Nope.  The vids I have seen do look really good, but I think Infamous:SS looks better, and its pulling off way more effects and runs ~40 FPS on average.  Does that also mean it will look quite a bit better than the One version?  Doubt it.  Maybe a little bit better AA, but for the most part, I bet they will look the same.

For me the performance isn't the issue, I could even handle parity. What gets me is the awful, awful way they've gone about presenting and then explaining it. Had they just come out and said "AC:U will be 900p @ 30 fps on both the Xbox One and the PS4" They would have easily had a smaller backlash than this.

I hope they get buried in this.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
