Oblivion had its moments but overall, the complete lack of consequence in the game made me lose interest pretty quickly. The lack of a decent story didn't help it either.

I'm really scared that Bethesda is going to Oblivionize my favorite RPG series of all time.

 I guess that I'm alone in loving Oblivion.

I enjoyed it as well.  It's not perfect or anything, the repetitive dungeons bored me after awhile, I also didn't like the fact that the monsters scaled up with the character, and the combat allowed a person to be cheap, but I found the rest of the game worked well.

I loved it, too. It's up there with KotoR and the Baldur's Gate games on my list of favorite RPGs.
