I don't really see this happening - but why do all of the xbox fans always automatically think "I don't want waggle!" when they see this? Surely they are aware that the pointing ability of the Wiimote is its greatest potential asset for 'hardcore' games, and that a pointing control scheme for games like Halo would improve the experience dramatically?
