Apparently, everything related to this topic is blowing up everywhere. Funny, considering that they did it to avoid the debates...  Or so they say.

I'm kinda wondering about that myself.  Maybe the guy who put it out there this info didn't really like the practise (Ubisoft was probably just going to remain silent about it), so he just blurted it out in a nonchalant manner, which he knows after the #DealWithIt fiasco would cause a shitstorm.  That's the conspiracy theory I'm going with, anyway.
